Julie Chodorgetechnical SEO, data and AI expert
I do technical SEO on a network of 300 websites, with BigQuery, Python and, more recently, AI agents. Here I write about what worked, what broke, and what I learned from it.

A lab notebook, not a showcase
I am Technical SEO Lead at North Star Network, an international network of 300 media and gambling websites, around fifty of them premium. At that scale you cannot watch everything by hand: I cross-reference Search Console, GA4, server logs and crawls in BigQuery, I automate in Python, and I hand part of the repetitive work to AI agents.
I write the way I give a talk: numbers, screenshots and my own mistakes.
This site gathers my field notes and methods on technical SEO, data and AI. My background is on the About page.
What I write about
Three topics, one playing field
01
Technical SEO
The kind you practise when there are millions of pages to handle: crawl, indexing, logs, redirects at scale, pagination and architecture. Always from a real case, with its numbers and the pitfalls to avoid.
02
Data
I started with Excel, to the point of giving a talk about it, and I now work with BigQuery, Python and Streamlit. Methods to combine sources, queries ready to copy, and advice to keep the bill under control.
03
AI
AI as I actually use it day to day: what I delegate, what I keep, and the safeguards that go with it. No promises, just field experience.

Talks and teaching

I enjoy passing things on, and that is nothing new. I have spoken at SEO Camp events about Excel for SEO, log analysis and SEO dashboards. Since 2021 I have also been teaching digital marketing and e-commerce to undergraduate and master’s students.
The principle is always the same: a topic I practise every day, real examples, and what I learned along the way.
